The fully automatic integrated distillation unit is composed of 6 heating units. When using a home decor glassware distillation container to clean the instrument, you should first clean your hands, so that the oil on your hands will adhere to the instrument, which increases the difficulty of cleaning. You can brush with water from the outside to the inside to remove water-soluble substances, some insoluble substances and dust. If there is organic matter such as oil, it can be soaked in a certain concentration of detergent solution for a certain time, then scrub with a detergent brush, then rinse with tap water, and then rinse the inner wall with purified water for 2 to 3 times. The inner wall of the cleaned glass instrument shall be able to be evenly wetted by water without streaks and water drops. Glass equipment is usually used for grinding, and care should be taken to protect the grinding during cleaning.

The glass distillation vessel shall be cleaned immediately after use. For different sediments left in the filter core, use appropriate detergent to dissolve the solids deposited on the surface of the core, and then wash the core repeatedly by reducing pressure. Wash the remaining sediment and rinse with distilled water. Glass instruments with grinders, which are used to prepare and contain high concentration solutions, such as volumetric flasks, colorimetric tubes, burets, etc., should be poured out in time, discarded or stored in reagent bottles, and cleaned in time to prevent solute precipitation, clogging of grinding plugs, and damage to the glass instruments.

Clean the glass distillation vessel, cut off the power supply, turn off the tap water switch, and remove the condenser tube, but do not need to remove the plastic tube. Carefully add about 100 ml of concentrated hydrochloric acid to the horizontal flask and dilute to dilute hydrochloric acid with water in the flask. If there is more scale, the amount of hydrochloric acid may be more. After a few minutes, it is discharged by the water level device, and then flushed several times with tap water. To remove the residual hydrochloric acid, insert the flask back and forth to clean the dead corners that are difficult to clean. After re distillation, start distilling the water within 10 minutes and discard it.

After cleaning the instrument and after a certain period of distillation, scale will accumulate on the surface of the horizontal flask and quartz heating tube. At this time, cleaning is required. The cleaning times mainly depend on the hardness of tap water and service time. The cleaning shall affect the distillation effect, seriously damage the heating tube, and extend the cleaning time.
